Vermillion Park Campground offers a haven for campers! With a quick drive in every direction leading to a memorable outdoor adventure, this campground is one of the best kept secrets for RVer’s enroute to Churchill or the Riding Mountains. With upgraded campground facilities, including new showers and a new covered picnic area, and a pristine natural setting are all just a short walk away from any amenities you may seek on your travels. A dumping station can now be found on site. If you are one of the festival-goers, shuttle service is available from Vermillion Park right to the festival site. Vermillion Park is also a short walk to great downtown shopping, the historic Fort Dauphin Museum, and the Watson Art Centre which hosts programming and entertainment year-round!

The Vermillion Park Campground is the main green space within our parks system and is located on 214 2nd Avenue N.W. (2 blocks west of Main Street). Vermillion Park Campground provides a beautiful setting for family picnics, weddings, reunions or a quiet day of relaxing. And, in the winter months, it’s a great place to come snowshoeing or for a ski!

17 Full Service Campsite: $35.00/night (fire pits included in all full-service sites)
25 Water & Electrical: $25.00/night
36 Electrical Service: $20.00/night

Park Amenities:
 - Washrooms have frequent sanitization and a regime for business sanitization is in place
 - Wear water shoes or sandals while using shower facilities
 - RV and tent camping in the heart of the community
 - 30 Amp and 50 Amp service available

 - 1 main washroom facility located within the park with male / female shower facilities
 - Parking lot
 - Picnic tables and fire pits

 - 2 km lighted walking trail (year round)
 - The oxbow in the park is known as the “Dead River” and is home to lots of wildlife such as ducks, turtles, frogs as well as squirrels and numerous species of birds.
 - Pets welcome (dogs must be leashed at all times and owners must clean up after their pets)

Rotary Arena

The Rotary Arena is located on the Dauphin Memorial Community Centre Grounds off of 1st Avenue S.E. It is east across the parking lot from Credit Union Place.

The Rotary Arena offers a 185’ x 80’ artificial ice surface with a seat capacity of 300 people.  For event floor seating, the Rotary can host up to 400 depending on the event.  There is one concession, washrooms and showers, and a sound system.

The Upper Rotary offers space for meetings and fitness programs, and is home to the Vermillion Archers during the winter months.

DMCC Grounds

DMCC Grounds

The Dauphin Memorial Community Centre (DMCC) Grounds is the 50 acre property with the main entrance being located off of 1st Avenue S.E. that houses the major recreational / event facilities such as the Parkland Recreation Complex, Credit Union Place and Rotary Arena.

The DMCC Grounds is home to the annual Ag Fair hosted every July long weekend and the annual car show and derby hosted every summer.  The DMCC grounds are hosted in a park like environment with green space a priority for all development and house the following facilities:

  • Four minor baseball / softball diamonds and concession storage building
  • One senior baseball diamond with a concession / announcer building and batting cage
  • One sale barn and 3 pole barns for a total of 217 stalls complete with electricity, lights and water
  • One 16-stall livestock wash rack located at the west end of the barns
  • Two livestock show rings: 1 grass show ring (228' x 125') and 1 sand ring (302'x 120') used for high school rodeo
  • 1/4 mile stock car track and 5/8 mile horse track complete with two spectator grandstands with a total seating capacity of 1,800 people (south 1,000 / north 800), concession building, paramutual / storage building and announcers stand
  • 3 horseshoe pits
  • DCT outdoor rink with heated dressing area and lighted ice surface
  • Porta-toilets
  • 320 stall paved and lighted parking lot located between Credit Union Place, Parkland Recreation Complex, Rotary Arena and senior ball diamond
  • Grounds are accessible from five access points around the grounds for various events Municipal
