Manager of Finance

Job Scope

Dauphin Recreation Services (DRS) has an immediate opening for the position of "Manager of Finance". Reporting to the General Manager, this full time out of scope position is responsible for the coordination and completion of all relevant financial matters, along with the supervision of the accounting clerk position.

The Person

DRS is looking for a highly motivated individual who can perform a wide variety of accounting/financial and Human Resource functions with a high degree of proficiency. The ideal candidate will preferably possess;

3rd or 4th level C.G.A.

Proven experience in payroll and computer software applications

Experience working in a unionized environment

Proven management and demonstrated leadership skills.

Individuals without an accounting designation but with considerable accounting experience (10+ years) may also be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Working knowledge of municipal accounting software would be considered an asset.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications. DRS provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package for this full time exempt position.
